Ajay Plastics
Twenty-five years of making valves for people who irrigate for a living.
Two brands, one factory, one standard. FLOTEC for drip and agriculture. Sigma for the wider plumbing range.
The company
We make one thing, and we make a lot of it.
Ajay Plastics manufactures solid valves, single-piece ball valves, and agriculture and plastics articles from its plant in Gujarat. The range runs from a 15 mm valve on a nursery bed to a 150 mm main, in RPVC, UPVC, CPVC, PP and ABS.
Our customers are dealers, distributors, irrigation contractors and the growers they supply. That shapes what we build: valves that go in fast, seal first time, and still turn after a season in the sun and the soil.
Nothing in the catalogue is a badge-engineered import. Every product on this site is moulded, assembled and tested in our own factory.
Two brands
One factory. Two names on the box.
FLOTEC for drip and agriculture. Sigma for plumbing. Same plant, same testing, different job on the ground.
Drip irrigation ball valve
Ball valves, non-return valves, flush valves and unions built for micro-irrigation — main supply, zoning, sector control and lateral flushing.
Commitment of Quality
The same components, tooling and testing for residential, commercial and industrial plumbing — including hot-water and chemical duty.
Mission
Our mission

Manufacturing
Moulded, assembled and tested under one roof.
Injection moulding, assembly, hydrostatic testing and packing all happen in the same plant. That is what lets us hold a consistent seal across a range that spans a ten-to-one size ratio.
Non-return valves are tested individually — 100% factory tested, not batch sampled — because a check valve that sticks once has already failed.
- Injection moulding: In-house lines with dedicated tooling
- Assembly: Valve build and finishing on site
- Hydrostatic testing: Pressure testing before pack-out
- Size range: 15 mm to 150 mm
- Materials: RPVC, UPVC, CPVC, PP, ABS
Quality and testing
What we test, and why it matters.
Every valve is moulded, assembled and tested in our Gujarat plant — so the seal on the datasheet is the seal that ships.
Lead free
Processed from a non-toxic, lead-free compound — safe for potable and food-contact duty.
Leak proof
TPE seals give a leak-free close at low, fixed torque. No chattering on open or close.
Easy installation
Solvent-socket ends. True union bodies open for service without cutting the pipe.
Chemical resistant
Resists many inorganic chemicals. EPDM O-rings on the non-return range.
Light weight
A fraction of the weight of metal, and it assembles quickly in the field.
Quality checklist
- Ball valves are hydrostatically tested
- Non-return valves are 100% factory tested
- PTFE seats compensate automatically for fluctuation and wear
- Stem guides prevent side thrust, so torque stays constant
- Full bore design for optimum flow rate
- Open and closed positions indicated on the handle
- Installs in vertical or horizontal piping
- UV-stabilised colour throughout
Specifications
- Lead free: Non-toxic compound for potable duty
- Sealing: TPE / PTFE seats by product family
- Full bore: Optimum flow when fully open
- UV stable: Colour throughout the moulding
Who we build for

बढ़ाये फ़्लोटेक के साथ
A grower does not buy a valve. They buy the certainty that a line will shut when they turn the handle, in the middle of a season, three years after it went in.
That is the whole specification, and everything in the catalogue answers to it.
